She had planned the perfect summer: sunshine, luxury, and absolutely no sleeping in a tent.
Instead, Elle finds herself dragged into the middle of the African bush on a camping trip with her mother, where muddy feet, cold showers, and wild animals are apparently considered "fun."
Then there's Alex. Tall, irritatingly charming, permanently covered in dust, and far too comfortable telling her what to do. He's everything she dislikes: rugged, country, confident, and completely unimpressed by her spoiled-princess attitude.
But somewhere between arguments, moonlit adventures, and searching the darkness for hyenas, she begins to wonder if perhaps the worst thing about this trip isn't camping at all.
