25 year old Half Swedish & Half Brazilian Rena Duarte lives in Brazil. Her mother has just died after a long cancer battle and she has to step in and look after her 10 year old brother Justin. Her father Imana Duarte, was a Brazilian and after his wife died, he ran away to Cuba because he couldn't cope with his 2 children. Now, Rena has decided to go and find an opportunity in Paris. Where she meets David, who she turns away at first but then notices he is all she needs.
