The world has secret. There's a hidden community of people, known as Zodiars, who each have the power to harness Fire, Earth, Air or Water. The live quietly among others, practising their magic in private. Ignis and her friends, Emma, Kyla and Raya have lived at the Academy for almost their entire lives, practising their magic individually and as a Team. But a danger has risen, something that threatens Zodiar and people alike. Ignis and her friends need to find out what it is, and stop it, before it blows away the Zodiars' carefully crafted cover and an all out war breaks out. Or is it already to late for the world?

There was a small strip of metropolis that looms in the shadow of a central New York railway. And in those shadows are countless numbers of the infected a light sheet of rain blankets the streets as helicopters roar in the heights. Sirens form multiple sources wail in the distance as if the world hasn't yet ended. The army has come and gone leaving the survivors trapped in the Broadway. Held up in an abandon building across from an aged and fabled theatre, the survivor wait in bleak anticipation as the dead claw at the doors of there safe house. When it became clear that help is not coming the group is faced with the terrible notion that rescue is solely up to them.
