When someone becomes Greedy, they can do something really abominable. Same here with Miko, a greedy man who lost his faith on God and started worshiping the Dark Prince who gave him everything he wanted to achieve or accomplish in his lifetime until the final worship. After that, everything changed.

You make a deal to save your love. This is a flash fiction piece I wrote for a creative writing course. I had fun writing my other second-person story and thought I'd give it another go. These characters may eventually get more development (I have plans for them, just haven't decided what world I want to settle them in) but this is what happens to them in this one! I hope you enjoy.

This is one man's account of the desperate, life changing deal he made in the grips of addiction at just sixteen; and the unthinkable deal he'd have to make over a decade later to save himself.

Arin wakes up in a childhood room, greeted by a man who calls himself Dean. After series of event Arin must make a decision which will change his life for the better or the worst.

Vance was once a noble angel, destined to rule. His parents, the late king and queen, raised him in a palace filled with light and hope, preparing him to lead their kingdom. But tragedy struck when they died suddenly, leaving Vance to face the treachery of his own family. His aunt and uncle, driven by greed and ambition, seized the throne and cast him out, seeing him not as the rightful heir but as an obstacle to their power. Alone and heartbroken, Vance wandered the world, his angelic light dimmed by the pain of betrayal. In his darkest hour, Vance met Xior, a devil with a tempting offer. Xior promised Vance a way to reclaim his throne and take revenge on those who wronged him, in exchange for a part of his angelic essence. Consumed by bitterness and a desire for justice, Vance made the pact without hesitation. His wings, once pure, were now tinged with darkness as he harnessed the devil's power to fuel his mission. When he returned to the palace, his aunt and uncle were stunned to see not the defeated boy they had cast aside, but a formidable force transformed by vengeance. With Xior's guidance and his newfound strength, Vance swiftly overpowered them, stripping them of their stolen power and casting them into despair. With his enemies vanquished, Vance ascended the throne, reclaiming his birth right and restoring his family's legacy. He ruled with a blend of wisdom and determination, his reign shaped by both the light of his angelic heritage and the cunning he had learned from his alliance with Xior. Though the people hailed him as a just and strong king, unaware of the dark deal that guided his rise, the shadow of his pact lingered. Xior watched from the darkness with a knowing smile, content in the knowledge that even the purest of angels could be touched by darkness when the light betrays them.
