When Byleth Eisner and his family saved a group of nobles from bandits, none of them expected to get swept into staying at Garreg Mach Monastery, the site of a military academy. One twist of fate later, and Byleth was now a professor teaching one of the three houses of students: the Black Eagles, the Blue Lions, or the Golden Deer. His sister, Blythe Eisner, along with Celine, a mysterious young woman under the care of the Eisner family, had chosen the Blue Lion House. It seemed his fate was set in stone, but he later found out it was not. The monastery was not everything it had seemed to be. Strange happenings were taking place all around Fódlan, transforming what was supposed to be a peaceful year into a year no one had ever experienced before. Ancient enemies were coming out of the shadows, influencing the continent and its inhabitants. Nothing would prepare the people of Fódlan for the rise of the Agarthans... unless something were to be done. Byleth, Blythe, Celine, and the three house leaders would be instrumental in Fódlan's new dawn. They just had to chase the dawn through adversity, betrayal, and misunderstanding in order to reach it. DIMITRI BLAIDDYD/OC STORY The Adrestian Empire has begun their attack on Fódlan. Dimitri, Crown Prince of Faerghus, is in the dungeons of Enbarr awaiting execution. Byleth Eisner, the man capable of liberating the continent, is missing. Garreg Mach is in ruins. While the Knights of Seiros scramble to rekindle their strength and recruit soldiers to their cause, Dimitri is desperately searching for a way out of his predicament. When he finds a rather distasteful option, he is chased into the Adrestian countryside with a new group of companions: twelve kidnapped children and their supposed caretaker. Holding them for ransom, he now waits for Edelgard to allow the remaining Duscur soldiers to escape with him in exchange for the children's release. However, one member of the captives might cause more problems than she seems worth at first glance. ---------------- Main events can be altered slightly; sexual behavior and suggestive themes/lines are present; violence and self harm present in later chapters.
