Distracteddriving Stories

It could have been prevented.

This story was written as a gruesome warning against distracted driving. Carla insists on driving to a family gathering with her brother and his infant daughter to show off her brand new car, but the stress from her busy job causes her to become distracted, and before she knows what is happening, the car is flying through the air. Waking without feeling in her lower body, Carla must find a way to get help and save her young niece.

Ages ago I took a driver's education course and one of my assignments was to write a short story on either: a. The person at fault in a car crash for texting and driving b. A third person view of a car crash resulting from texting and driving or c. The victim's family's point of view from a texting and driving induced car crash I chose "c" and this is the mediocre short story of how one small text can end someone's large plans for life.
