Dragon-academy Stories

Alfie is a dragon hunter. Let me reiterate that. She's a part time dragon hunter who loves the thrill of hunting down and capturing such interesting creatures. One day she learns of her sister's engagement and although her family has a roof over their head they cannot afford a dowry so Alfie makes a deal with an old friend: If she manages to smuggle a dragon he will give her a hundred platinum marks. More than enough! I have yet to finish this story so no promises on completion however if enough people like this I will continue it

Darkness looms and writhes, balancing on the edge of perception. The victims aren’t attentive enough to notice. Some have sensed It, certainly, but they're going about it all wrong. They've kept it hushed. They've set up tests for their youth, vigorously training them to fight It. They've already lost. Dragon Academy and the Guardians will fall, and Darkness will reign.

On a school holiday in the Scotish Highlands, Katie discovers she has an unusual talent which draws her towards a mysterious island that nobody else can see. There she finds herself in a much more primitive world, a world of flame and sword, with much simpler rules: prosper or fail; dominate or submit; live or die. After a couple of years of writing in other genres, I return to my original love, Epic Fantasy. Unlike many of my other books, this one is suitable for teenage readers with a 'Harry Potter' level of violence and menace.

This probably won't be good. First story. ---------------------------- Xena and Xyla are twin sisters from the town, Mirstone. They both enjoy doing more athletic stuff over beauty stuff. Xyla is the younger one, she prefers to be called Moon, if not that it is Alexis. She is the one that will spend days at a time alone in the forest that surrounds the town. Or she can be found baking in the town bakery or working in the towns workshop. Xena is the older one, she prefers being called Sun or Kennedy. She is more likely to be hanging out with a small group but does similar activities as moon.
