Paul Atreides is dispatched to planet Arrakis to restore the production of spice in his family's name. He runs into some problems along the way, meets new people, and things start to change quickly. Including him.

Beginnings are such delicate, fragile times. Especially for Elaine, who is still fairly new to the Freman yet has found herself trapped in the role of being a Sayyadina. This role is not only connected to a prophecy she couldn't care less about, but It also means she can't fight alongside the Freman, which is a fate worse than death in her eyes.
