Orphaned and raised in a secluded village by the wise, reclusive swordsman Kensei, Orenai embarks on a long-desired journey to explore the wonders of Edo-period Japan. His only companion: a beautiful, ancient katana, inherited from his ancestors, which stubbornly remains sheathed, defying all attempts to draw its blade. But Orenai's peaceful wanderings are shattered when Aiko, the woman he loves, vanishes, dragged into a shadowy world. To find her, Orenai must fight his way through a perilous landscape populated by legendary Japanese Yokai, guided by cryptic clues and his unique, 'sheathed blade' fighting style. As he delves deeper, he unearths the truth of his 'Cloudborn' heritage and the fearsome power of Bloodsovereign, a divine gift that grows with each powerful bloodline he defeats. Ultimately, Orenai must master his burgeoning abilities and face a corrupted god in an epic confrontation that will determine not only Aiko's fate but the balance of the spiritual world.

Here are some of my pieces from my senior year creative writing class! I guess the title really is self explanatory though😅 I might add more short stories later on as well (I had cw for a semester that was compressed into nine weeks so we only got around to a very small amount of actually writing). Hopefully anyone who wonders upon this enjoys the whatever I've written, feel free to leave feedback or constructive criticism!

disclaimer: I do not own the story Inuyasha in any shape or form nor the chracters. this is a fan fiction and an AU. Some characters are of my design. In the past of ancient Japan demons ruled over humans. Physical, mental, and spiritual. One of those ruling clan of demons were Dragons and they lived amongst other lords in the heaven. The dragons were a growing power and eliminates everyone in their path, but one birth might put a stop to the destruction....

[Under heavy revision and editing.] The Edo period of Japan, where the ancient rules apply in society. In such a society, roams a Kusuriuri, quite old at heart, but young in appearance. His only goal, his reason for existence, to slay the Mononokes haunting people. What happens when a young woman of age 20, gets sent to the past from the present era? Her eyes see the old man, and follow him. The solitary Kusuriuri gains a companion in his otherwise solitary life. However, this young lass of a child, seems to hold a number of secrets, her mind appearing seemingly unreachable, possibly holding a frightening amount of dark wisdom. Disclaimer: This fanfiction will contain dark topics and triggering themes. I do not own anything except the plot and the OCs. Everything else belong to their respective owners. Also, no romamce between Kusuriuri and the girl. It's going to be purely a father-daughter relationship between them.
