Early during the first war between the Cyrodiilic Empire and the Third Aldmeri, Ulfric Stormcloak is taken prisoner by the Thalmor. This story sets out to explore the relationship between Ulfric and his Thalmor handler, Elenwen, in the time between his capture and the Markarth Incident. This is actually my first ever attempt at both fanfiction and romance, as I've been terrified to fuck up preestablished characters and write shitty, cheesy lines, so hopefully my horrible fear of these things will at least keep me a LITTLE safe from them Some points of note! 1. This story makes heavy use of the elder scrolls months, as the chapters are not entirely chronological (ie. Chapter 2 taking place before chapter 1, though these two are still the same month). A list of these months can be found with a 2 second google search 2. This story references things in the elder scrolls lore constantly, as it's an elder scrolls fic. Unlike the months, if something being referenced is unclear, please ask, not only so I can edit it to be more clear if I feel it's necessary, but also because I really like explaining TES lore lmao 3.
