A suburb out side out Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Which happens to be where the other lover girl, well guy lover for now;), named Alison goes to school. University of Pennsylvania. And the other? Well she's scrambling to get her life together so she can leave Pennsylvania all together. Especially Rosewood. Ah, Emily. Always ready for something new. She can never stay with one thing but one day a beautiful blonde walks in to her minimum-wage-paying job, as a barista at the local coffee shop in Rosewood. Wow she thought. She's never seen her before. She must be new.. should I talk to her, thought Emily? Wait.. Why would I even be thinking this....She is probably straight, as beautiful as she is. And indeed she was right. Alison was straight. But Emily Fields, the oh-so-hot barista had also caught Ali's eye, which is rare for Alison for anyone. But never girls... Is she... Gay?
