Emotionabuse Stories

This short poem is about my mother and how she treated me. This was whether I was with her or not. And now that I am older and she is no longer in my life, I've had time to reflect on my experiences. This poem doesn't directly reflect everything I went through, but hopefully, it shows a little bit.

A guy reborn into another body after dying because of a lover only to be forced by faith to meet him again will he forgive him or avoid him at all costs.

Kindness turned to steel, love to obligation, and my name felt smaller in a house too large for my heart.
