He just so happens to do this after he finally gets the courage to ask his crush, Selena Gomez, if she'd be his girlfriend. After just a few passionate months together, Justin leaves for training camp. When he comes home from training, Justin doesn't know how much time he'll get to spend with his family and Selena before he gets called up to deploy on his first tour to Iraq. He enlisted to protect and serve his country, that is all he knew. He witnessed some good and bad news but he just couldn't leave. Well, until the war was over. He was sent home with honorable discharge for servings two duties, and honestly, he missed his family so much he was ready to go home. He didn't know that the people whom he loved unconditionally , was the reason for him enlisting, he wanted to make them proud of him, had changed. He comes to find out that not all things are welcoming and good when you return from war. He had a life and a loving family but when he returned, he didn't realize that would all change.
