Euthanized Stories

At first she wasn't eating right because there was something in her stomach and they had to remove it.

There are special people in the world who have powers. Powers that no one can explain, but potentially dangerous. So, everyone fears them, humans naturally fear the unknown. No one can explain how they get them. They could get the powers at birth or as soon as they turn 80! It's unknown and a mystery. The government fears that these people will use there power for harm, so they made new technology. Bracelets made of heavy metal and a blue shine. This prevents them from using any sort of power, but its unbearably painful, it burns into their skin and flesh until it is taken off, which they usually don't remove. Then, they are sent to a prison like island far away from society. There, they would have to survive on their own. Oh and if they try to escape that island, they will be immediately euthanized. They never asked for this..... They never wanted this..... So, why should have to go through this torture? Because, humanity is a big wimp. Who will stand tall against their own kind? Who will fight back to retrieve their rights? And where do these mysterious powers come from?....
