Eighteen year old Georgia Riley has always lived in the same small town her whole life where she was found in a burning building that her adopted father found her in. One day when she was on a hike in the woods she finds a strange looking girl with wings laying on the ground. As she stepped towards this girl something came out of a bush near by. As if her body already knew what to do some fire blasted from her hand. When both her and the girl gets to safety her life changes in ways she could never dream of.

The 18 year old Lucy Heartfillia "runs away" from her strict father and past life. She starts a new in an apartment and meets interesting people along her way through her college years.
