Meet Aster. Bright, young, beautiful. She's got it all, even the ability to fight! And her life would be peaches and cream if she didn't have her kingdom hunting her like a deer and her past haunting her like a ghost. But she's not alone. Aster's the head of a team of knights and her second in command, Talesin (AKA Tale) has taken up the responsibility of taking care of her like an older brother would. But his feelings have a tendency to go deeper than the bond that the two of them share. *Hi! Sorry if a few times, the story takes a dark turn but what do you expect? Cupcakes and rainbows aren't going to happen...that's a lie. Maybe once or seven times. Hello! Small warning, the beginning of this book is... well, I'm not gonna sugar coat it. It's just bad. The chapters are short, the grammar is a little funky, I don't really like the writing in general... There's quite a few things. But I will say, the recent chapters are looking A LOT better. I've actually developed characters and places, species and stuff. I've actually got an idea of where I want to go with this book and have got things (mostly) figured out. I am not saying skip the first few chapters, just know they're gonna be a little tough at the start. Kay, now that that is out of the way... Everyone has their own imaginary world in their head. But Liz's is special. One day, a strange portal opens and when she goes through she is met with a whole new world of friends, adventures, and infinite possibilities. Avantra is a place only few find, But when Liz and her friends group together, they all face the challenges of this vast world together, and discover who they truly are.
