Yucca is a Silkwing-Hivewing-Sandwing hybrid. Her mother, Goldspot, was a Silkwing-Hivewing hybrid who was part of the Silkwing resistance. She had run from Pantala with the Leafwings and Silkwings. When they were crossing the dessert, Goldspot met Sphinx Yucca's dad, who was a Sandwing. Yucca is now a student who attends Jade Mountain Academy with her friends Apollo (Silkwing) and Bumblebee (Hivewing, you know who). Before she goes to the academy, Yucca finds out something special about herself. Can she have this special gift and still be able to have a normal school life?how will her and her friends first year at the academy go? What new wonders will she discover.
