Lilly Jeslane is a practical woman. When she is made one of the leading detectives in a kidnapping case, she is sure she can find the girl before Christmas. But what she discovers makes her question everything. Can she uphold justice? Or will she be forced to break the law? In a case where everyone is guilty of something. What can she afford to lose? The case? Her job? Her friends? Or her life...?
