Don't hate me. I'm going to make my own version of Cinderella. Japan was a girl here, I'll still use the name Kiku.

I've seen some other people do this and thought it'd be a good idea.

This is an old one. I originally wrote this in 2013 or 2014, and have since been publishing and unpublishing it depending on how embarrassed I feel about this on that particular day. Today, I'm deciding to keep it published for good. I've updated a lot of the writing in this, editing a lot of dialogue and narration to fit my more updated writing style and hopefully this will be something I won't still cringe at in the future. At the time of writing this, I had a really powerful message I wanted to convey with this, and even now I'm still having trouble conveying it. It's exaggerated and unrealistic, and that's the one thing I can't stand about this story. However, people seem to love it, so it doesn't feel right for me to keep it hidden. I've considered writing another chapter if I can think of one, but I can't make that a promise. I could write a separate thing on this pair completely, taking place within the same continuity, but again, I can't promise. However, if I do write this pair again, I want it to be light and fluffy and full of happiness. It's what my girls deserve. -- If anyone is experiencing fear or pain in regards to their sexual orientation, then please know that you will not burn in Hell for the way you are. Even if you are Christian, God is love. If God is love, then he will not hate you for loving someone, no matter who or how you love. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You're beautiful and perfect and you are just as you are intended to be no matter your religion or creed, no matter your orientation, no matter your gender. I don't care how mediocre this story is, at the end of the day, what I say here is what I want you to take away from this. And always always remember to take care of yourselves. Taking care of others is fine, but don't do so to the extent that you neglect your own feelings. It isn't safe and it isn't healthy. Good day, and thank you. ♡
