in the 60s version of the show there are two episodes called Morticia's Romance, in there Morticia and Gomez tell Wednesday and Pugsley about how they met and got married. they tell them how Gomez was originally engaged to Morticia her older sister Ophelia. I wont spoil anything of course for the people who havent watched it but obviously Morticia ends up with Gomez and not Ophelia. and in the show Ophelia doesnt care as much because of the reason that is in that episode. I always thaught it a childish ending of a story with much potential. and now that I am doing a study to become a writer I thaught why not simply write the ending that I see as more realistic. ofcourse the show is wonderful on its own but as a fan since childhood, and young adult now I feel like I would like a more mature ending. one that is more realistic.
