During the summer following second year Hermione is sent adrift, quite literally, and in her absence the Wizarding World takes a turn for the worst. Hermione returns a hardened fighter ready to rejoin her friends only to find out nothing is like it once was. Putting everything on the line she travels back in time in a last effort to save her friends and everything she holds dear.

So much pain for someone so young ┈ᯓ★๋࣭⭑ June 26, 1995. That was the day Hermione erased her parents memories of herself and sent them to Australia. The day she moved into Grimmauld Place at Sirius' offer. The day she was emaciapated at Gringotts after realizing her usage of the time turner in her 3rd year had caused her to age up about six months. She realized that upon her birthday, she would actually be turning 17, not 16 due to the magical time changes. With that knowledge, she was rushing to prepare for what would be her magical maturity and the day her soulmate mark would come, if she had one.

Harry Potter is Dumbledore's golden boy. the quintessential Gryffindor. The Light Savior. Everybody knows that. Or they do, until he shows up at the Yule Ball with a snake around his neck and Blaise Zabini on his arm. Then 'everybody ' has to reconsider the picture they have painted...

"Can you at least tell me where I am?" Riddle asked, breaking the silence. "I think the better question is 'when I am','" Harry said dryly. There was a startled look on Riddle's face before it was erased in favour of the blank expression the boy wore. "What do you mean?" Riddle asked cautiously. Harry withheld a snort. Riddle knew perfectly well what Harry meant by that. Harry could see it on his face. Whatever, I don't have time for this. He still had to plan on how to deal with the Dursleys. "Today is August 2nd, 1995," Harry deadpanned, relishing in the way those words caught Riddle off guard. The feeling sent a jolt up his spine. "How the- I travelled 50 years into the future?!" The sheer befuddlement and shock in those words were enough to make Harry believe that he'd gotten the date wrong. Or Tom Riddle almost dies, wants to survive and is delivered to 15 year old Harry Potter. In that order.
