A quiet café. A sleepless writer. A notebook that refuses to stay blank. What begins as harmless scribbles turns into a deadly game, as every line written shapes reality itself. Shadows follow, strangers vanish, and the pen won't stop. To survive, the writer must finish the story before the story finishes them.

Some friends collect memories... She collected history. But some pieces of the past aren't meant to be touched - and some souls don't like being disturbed. This is not a love story, not a friendship story, and definitely not a fairytale. This is the beginning of something ancient... Something that was forgotten - until she awakened it again. Every antique has a story. Every story has a spirit. And some spirits never die. Part 1 - "The Truth of This Mirror" begins now. Next chapter - releasing next Saturday. Stay with me... if you're not afraid. 👁️🕯️

This is a story of real events I experienced through different visits to Zak Bagan's Haunted Museum. I'm telling it through the lens of two fictional characters to better understand what happened, and to make it more of an experience for the reader. I have become obsessed with the museum, and I'm not sure why. It could be the macabre items on display, or the fact Zak Bagans owns them, or the experiences I've had in the museum itself. But writing it all down to share with others seems like a way to embrace the weird things that have happened, and maybe see if there are others that feel the same way. Feel free to comment about your experiences, questions, or other comments. I found out the Haunted Museum isn't a joke or an average spooky, haunted house adventure. My first visit was in Dec. 2017, and my last was in December 2022. I've been on the new VIP tour and Flashlight tour, where you get to paranormal investigate the museum. I will be adding those experiences in a noted separate tour as part of the story. I will keep going back and adding more experiences. But then, don't wait for me. Go yourself. It's worth the trip. If you are interested in Zak Bagan's and his Haunted Museum, this story will give you an idea of what the tours are like, what is in the museum, and what to expect with a visit. But there is also a fallout from a visit there, like attachments, dreams, and experiences especially if you are sensitive. Find this all out by this account of what it's like to visit the museum. ***Many of the characters are fictional except for Zak Bagans, that owns the museum. Whenever possible, real pictures of the museum are included that I took. I also run the FB fan group for the museum. Look for it on Facebook. Enjoy!

A museum night attendant checks a humidity alert in the textile wing and finds the Ashby Dress breathing inside its glass case. The building hums; rust blooms; the dress asks a simple thing-Wear me. Ruth steps across the line between conservation and use, consent stitched bead-click by bead-click, and learns there are only two honest choices: rust out or wear out. Quiet, intimate haunt-not gore but heat, memory, and the ethics of touch. Liminal, sensual, human-first horror. Content note: sensuality/consent themes; no explicit sex, no gore.
