Author's Note: For some strange reason, this story was "unpublished" so I have resubmitted it, sorry for any confusion! Jamie Martin is Nick Fury's newest agent. Its post 2012 by several years - Loki is no longer the enemy, there is a new adversary - The Dark Elves. They destroyed most of Greenwich battling for the Aether but they were defeated and are gone - for now. Malekith their leader has decided the Casket of Ancient Winters, will serve to give him what he wants more than anything. To rule the 9 realms in perpetual night. Fury sends Jamie to Asgard to help protect the Casket. Loki takes exception to her presence inferring they cannot do the job themselves and shows it. Can they overcome their mutual animosity and work together to stop the destruction of everything they know? This takes place in an alternate timeline based around and after the ending of Dark World. Loki is alive and living openly on Asgard. Hela and Ragnarok have not yet made their entrance...

In the third - and final - instalment of Jenny Grey's birthday celebrations things come to a conclusion for her and Tom. They'd met, fallen in love and agreed to be each other's forever all to the beat of her Birthday. Now, on the second anniversary of the day they met, things come full circle. This time though, its not just Tom that's providing the birthday surprises.....

This storyline has come to me several times now and I just needed somewhere to document it. I will continue to add to it as it comes to me. For now, this publication will stay vaguely titled until I think of something worth naming it. A few things to note: First, I'd like to say I am in no way a great writer of any sort so please don't come here to judge. I know I will likely have grammar and punctuation misused throughout in my writing but that is not the point of this piece. I didn't come here to write a fantastic piece of literature. I just wanted to share my fangirl sentiments with other Hiddlestoners out there. Second, I know a lot of other die-hard Hiddlestoners and fan fiction writers I've read are good about having real event timing, names of people, and places in them but my story is all very much made up. None of the places or people I name are real (unless by complete coincidence) or unless I've done at least a little bit of research on it. Lastly, please enjoy. Now, in this alternate timeline, Thor desperately needs him to help fight the end of Asgard. He sends a Valkyrie to retrieve him. Convince him who he is and to come back. That Valkyrie had one job. And it wasn't to fall in love. But she did.
