Promises go a long way, even for Leo and Mikey. One nightly retreat brings out the worst in one of them, leaving the other to pick up all the pieces. Leo makes a promise to Mikey, one which will forever hold a place in his heart. And will never be broken.

Leonardo had always had insecurities and felt worthless next to his brothers. A series of events send him spiraling into depression and self loathing. As tensions and mistreatment between the brothers continue to rise, a figure watching from the shadows will aim to help Leonardo and rid him of his pain. The Triceratons have a big device called the Heart of Darkness and they plan on using it on Earth. The turtles find out and decide they will need all the help they can get so they make dangerous allies and decisions. They're worried because if they fail that would mean the destruction of Earth and all the people and things on it. The Hamato's aren't about to let that happen so they go and try to stop the Triceratons. Will they be able to save Earth? The answer is, no. They fail Earth but are saved by the Fugitoid after the loss of close friends and family. They have been given a second chance though. This takes place in the season 4 of tmnt 2012 but with a different ending. It all happens when the Hamato's come back with Mona Lisa and her army of Salamandrians. They still went to space and this is just what would happen if they failed to destroy the black hole generator and their 6 months ran out. Miwa, at the time, was still in the lair with Chole.
