Laws were put in place several millennia ago stating that any man, woman, or child with the distinctive white hair of an Iceborn was to be sentenced to death. But Ziarra knew that she had been held back her whole life because of something she couldn't control. It wasn't her choice to be Iceborn, and she knew that there was so much more out there that she would never be able to understand because of her curse.

The Iceborn series is a Wings of Fire fanfiction series that takes place in a world of dragons, taking place mostly in the Cloud Kingdom off the coast of Pyrrhia and a magical continent called Magisalla on the other side of the dragon planet. Starring a variety of dragons ranging from full blooded IceWings to hybrids to fan species made by me. If you're a fan of the Iceborn series, then check this book out! Life among mortals had been torturous for us immortals. For centuries, we thrived in secret, the delicate balance between realms maintained by a bond as fragile as it was powerful. Yet, many of our kind have perished, sacrificing themselves to uphold this secrecy. Others have turned against us, eager to reveal our existence to the world-a revelation that would shatter the peace between realms. To expose our secret is to unleash chaos, an imbalance that would be impossible to restore. The realms' leader, Mauelli, would have no choice but to exact punishment on those responsible. Mauelli is a figure of legend, feared by all. Stories speak of his merciless nature, his heart void of compassion or sympathy, even towards his own kin. His name alone strikes terror into the hearts of those who hear it-the king of all supernatural beings, the ruler who holds dominion over every power known to our kind. And now, that same king, Mauelli, stands before me, his eyes cold, his hand poised to tear my heart from my chest. The king who is my mate.

Blizzard never asked to be an iceborn. Blizzard never asked to be hatched at all. His parents, Iceberg and Gust, tried to drown him the moment they realized he was different. That everything he touched turned to ice. The IceWings turned their backs to him from the moment he was born. They told him he was lucky that he wasn't killed. Killed? Ha. Good luck doing that. He was miserable. He was angry. He was lonely. Hatched into a tribe where being different is viewed as unacceptable, and he was as different as anyone could imagine. His life changed, however, the day he met Snowmoon. And then, whether he wanted it to or not, Blizzard's life kept changing.

The CloudWings are a lost tribe that was once native to Pyrrhia before they were banished. They are Magisalla's close and only ally. They are located in a vast archipelago located southeast of Pyrrhia and have been lost to Pyrrhian history. Learn more about Magisalla's ally, the Kingdom of the Clouds, here in this scroll.
