Agent Phoenix has been on new missions to stop Zor's plan, with the help of their handler, Reginald, and Dr. Prism. The so-called "Phantom" is getting involved in between the two factions. Phoenix investigates both Zor and the Phantom.

Sure, Agent Nocturne enjoys the EOD. All the danger, surprises, and twists made it interesting. But why not reminisce on the life she had before? How she longed for her life to be filled with soft melodies once again... Meanwhile, a certain Zoraxis violinist joins the Agency's side. This is an AU that takes place after the game "I Expect You To Die 2". This story is inspired by @cardinalsin on tiktok (Hey Cards!) You don't need to know much about the game to enjoy this story so I hope you will. If you're interested, here's a summary of what goes on in the first two games. I'd highly suggest checking out the games for yourself if you have the ability to, or watch the gameplay :3 The game follows a spy who works for "The Agency", a secret organization that protects the world. They are given the name "Agent Phoenix" after somehow surviving an explosion in space at the end of the first game. The agency's/Phoenix's mission throuought the first two games is to take down the evil organization Zoraxis. Dr. Zor is at the head of this organization. Throughout the games, you have your handler, Mason, who guides you on your missions. In the second game, we are introduced to another villain who is working with Dr. Zor, John Juniper. An Actor. You have six missions in the second game. In the last one, you are able to disarm the missiles that Zoraxis is trying to launch and defeat Dr. Zor, for now anyway. You save the world at the cost of your own life, or is it? (I mean, heck, you survive an explosion! In outer space!! How could you die from an elevator crashing?) (Supposedly there is a third game, which I am very excited for, that's supposed to come out in the future so that's why I'm calling it an AU)

The year is 19XX, unaware of the other, both The Agency and their life-long enemy organization, Zoraxis, started a game in the lobbies and halls of their headquarters. Where hanging above a patiently waiting employee, the blood stained mistlefoe remained. The rules were simple, if you and another person met under the mistlefoe, a fight had to be engaged. or: AU where instead of kissing under the mistletoe, theres the mistlefoe, where you fight the unfortunate soul who stands underneath yeah this fic is for s1 on tumblr lol i liked the concept >:D

The Handler liked his job. Sure, it consisted of sitting behind a screen and staring at agents dying almost every day, but hey, it's better than being out there. So when he found out he had to take up a field mission as an Agent coupled with his not-crush, also an Agent, he shriveled in his seat.

They expect him to die (The antagonist of the film not the crew with other good people in this movie You know what I mean y'all)

Phoenix leaves the agency, now both Zoraxis and the E.O.D are after them.
