Following the success of their debut album in Norway, Nils and Nasr move to America seeking to become exceptional music artists, led by an abandoned music director by the name of Mr. Arthur Allen. Unlike their previous independent brand, Bølge og Ild, the boys discover they are not allowed creative freedom and must play by all of their executives' rules, even when it means leaving behind their music's essence and becoming the biggest rockstars at the young age of 12 and 10. The preteens fight to keep their hopes and everyone's expectations alive, feeling like something terrible will happen if they falter.
