Professor Light was a highly intelligent scientist who lived in a dying society. Meraville was a place where criminals rebelled against the law and the law was defenseless and hopeless against them. Years later, scientists discover that percent of the population of the world have some unique ability. They call these, 'XYZ-Traits' after the mysterious energies that Professor Light discovered. Some of these XYZ users use it to fight and defend their communities and even the world... however, others use it to cause sadness, sorrow and total destruction.
