Truth ruined her career. Lies made her famous. Naira built her platform chasing views instead of meaningless ghost stories, viral scares, empty headlines that brought millions of clicks and nothing else. Until one anonymous message pulls her to the edge of the city, where a factory officially listed as "closed" still breathes after midnight. She goes looking for proof. She finds him. Vivaan is everything she should fear-untouchable billionaire, industrial visionary, and the man whose name opens doors governments won't question. His company powers cities. His influence silences critics. And now, her investigation points straight to him. "I back away slowly from the oncoming threat, and the leering face of a yandere confidently approaches. My breaths grow shallow as I look at his bloodstained uniform. There was nothing I could do, he had me in his grasp. " Hi everyone! I hope I'm not the only one who is a major simp for the journalist *laughs nervously* anyways if you're here, chances are you are too! Hopefully, this story will make you swoon for the heroic journalist. Anyways, just a quick note, most things here will be customizable, AKA eye colour, hair colour, pronouns ETC. Although, the journalist will take the main role as the "Strong male" and you will take the role as the "strong independent and kindhearted female who also happens to be polite and kinda quiet." oh well enough jabbering! Let's get to the good stuff :> P.S I'll try to make things more aesthetic later but for now, I'm just really eager to write.

Kerem Ural-an investigative journalist weathered by years of experience yet whose inner fire of curiosity still burns-to the brink of an unbelievable truth, far beyond an ordinary news case. A cryptic seal found in the palm of the latest fire victim, a seal that fire itself could not melt and which bears ancient, unsettling symbols, becomes more than just a clue for Kerem; it is a gateway into a dark labyrinth hidden behind the gleaming facade of the modern world. As his investigation deepens, he realizes this seal is far more than a mere piece of metal. The trail leads him to Istanbul's forgotten legends, the darkest recesses of Turkic mythology, into the shadows of Erlik Khan, lord of the underworld, and his "sleeping servants." A small town. A forgotten river. And a mystery buried beneath the surface. Alex Riverstone, a journalist with a knack for uncovering the truth, arrives in the isolated town of Mosswood to investigate a string of mysterious deaths all linked to the river. The town, cloaked in an unsettling silence and surrounded by a fog that never seems to lift, holds a dark secret tied to an ancient pact made with the river. Every year, on the same day, the water claims a life, and the townsfolk remain eerily silent, bound by fear and tradition. As Alex digs deeper into the case, he discovers that the river's demands are far more supernatural and dangerous than he ever imagined. With the town preparing for another "silence day," Alex must navigate a web of cryptic warnings, supernatural phenomena, and the town's tight-lipped inhabitants to uncover the truth and break the cycle-before he becomes the next victim. Haunted by visions and inexplicable disappearances, Alex team's up with Anna, a local with her own ties to the river's dark history. As they uncover the town's hidden past, they realise that the river is far more than a body of water-it's an ancient force that feeds on memories, souls, and the lives it claims. As the townspeople grow fearful, Alex must face the dark pull of the river and understand its mysteries before it takes him-and everything he has loved. But the closer he gets, the more the river reaches out, tempting him to go with the depths. Can Alex dig up the truth before it's too late, or will the dark force lurking beneath consume him whole?

THEY WANTED TO WIN THE SPACE RACE. THEY BUILT THE GREATEST LIE IN HUMAN HISTORY. JULY 1969. The world holds its breath as Nate Armstrong takes his historic first step. In living rooms across America, families cheer, patriots weep, and the United States triumphs over the Soviet Union in a decisive victory for the free world. But every word is a lie. Leo Croft, a brilliant but disillusioned special effects wizard, is recruited by a shadowy government official for a "patriotic project" of unimaginable scale. He is taken to a clandestine soundstage in the Nevada desert, where he is given an impossible task: if America cannot reach the moon, he must fake it. Driven by artistic pride and Cold War fear, Leo uses all his genius to build the ultimate illusion. But as the line between reality and deception blurs, Leo discovers the terrifying truth: the conspiracy he serves is more ruthless than he ever imagined. Those who work on the project are not patriots-they are prisoners. And those who ask too many questions have a habit of meeting with fatal "accidents." Now, hunted by the very machine he helped create and with a tenacious journalist-his own estranged wife-closing in on the truth, Leo must make an impossible choice. Expose the lie and risk shattering the nation's faith, triggering global chaos... or become the permanent guardian of a secret that would forever distort history. *A stunning, genre-bending thriller that reimagines the 20th century's greatest achievement, * America's One Small Lie is a gripping tale of artistic integrity, moral compromise, and the devastating cost of a lie that united the world.
