We all know what happened historically. Elizabeth Schuyler fell in love with Alexander Hamilton, they got married, and they had lovely kids. But in this modern version, Alexander isn't in Eliza's story. Instead, she married Thomas Jefferson. The Jeffersons have a happy, albeit busy, life together. With their kids (in order from youngest to oldest): Henry and Samuel (twins), Marie, William, Rose, and Jasper.

After Eliza reads the Reynolds pamphlet she and Alexander get into a fight, but when Alexander says something he doesn't mean he's sent to a universe several years in the future in which she gave up on him. She's engaged to another man, and seemingly happy. Will he be able to win her back, or has he lost his Eliza for good?
