Tao is a young girl how who works at a small clinic in the outskirts of Ba Sing Sa. There she mets Jet and begins nursing him back to health. As their relationship transitions from patient and nurse to friends to possibly something more, Tao begins to worry that he might find about her true identity. Aang having been found by katara and sokka was only the beggining of their long journey as the group of three become extremely confused when they meet a girl who can bend 3 of the 4 elements.
