Karlo had too much to worry about. Band practice, family issues, and medical problems, the last thing he needed was the new boy trying to get himself killed. Tolly was smiling through the pain and anger. Too kind to snap, too worried to let it out. Making the best of a bad situation, but just wanting to be himself. Looking for someone to open up to.
