The Lord is angry with all nations; his wrath is on all their armies. He will totally destroy them, he will give them over to slaughter. Their slain will be thrown out, their dead bodies will stink; the mountains will be soaked with their blood. Isaiah 34:2-3 "Yeah, I never put much stock on God." "Well, he put stock in you."

"I did not want this life. I was made for so much more than being handed to a man old enough to be my father." "Watch your tongue," her father warned. "No. For once, you will listen to me." Tears burned in her eyes, but she refused to look away. "You sold me. For land. For power. For your own gain. You speak of honor, but there is no honor in what you did." "Everything I did was for this family." "Do not lie to me!" she shouted. "You did it for yourself. You sacrificed me because it was easier than sacrificing anything of your own." Her father stepped forward, his expression hardening. "You have food, a home, a husband who can provide for you. Most women would be grateful." A bitter laugh escaped her. "Grateful? You expect gratitude? You cursed me. You took every dream I ever had and buried it beneath a marriage I never wanted. You ended my life before it even began." Silence filled the room. Mildritha's voice dropped to a whisper, somehow more painful than her shouting. "I was your daughter. I trusted you to protect me." Her eyes met his. "Instead, you were the one who destroyed me." For a moment, her voice broke. "And I will never forgive you for it." The Last Kigndom Before season 3 - ? Female Oc x Finan the Agile

This is part of a experiment to get my writing up to speed and influenced. It's based on my first Pathfinder Society's character who, in opposite to most of my characters, has no religion due to his lack of belief in God's love. It's not that he doesn't believe they exist as clearly their powers are channelled through clerics, however he couldn't understand why these Gods leave their followers to die in so many senseless ways. He was a fighter who is fully armoured and wields a tower shield, a massive shield which is so big that it impairs his attack due to not being able to see around it clearly, however most enemies that tried to hit him just flailed helplessly there whilst he stood there. Much more interesting stories will be coming to you in the future. Background info of the places mentioned in the story here: The Five King Mountains: http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Five_Kings_Mountains The Darklands: http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Darklands Dwarves: http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Dwarves Pathfinder Society: http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Pathfinder_Society Currently I have plans to expand these stories at a later date.
