Brookelynn was forced to split from her family when the fire nation attacked her nation. She was born an airbender but was adopted and raised by earth benders. She had been friends with Korra and one day they go to watch a tournament between some of the other fighters and decided to join when she met this boy who seemed so rough and cold. It was like he didnt really care about feelings but the more she talked to him the more she saw that he was really soft on the inside and has a big heart that he was willing to give to her and do anything to protect his princess.

"What should we name her?" Kya asked, holding her new-born baby girl in her arms. Lin Beifong, the chief of police, looked over her wife's shoulder and smiled at her small, sleeping daughter.
