When Max arrives at the Hunter house, he was expecting the usual routine of all the houses before them. Of course that changes when Erik and Kate go missing the first night that he is there. Now him and his new siblings have to try and find out what happened to them before any finds out they are missing. Though they do have some help in the family's friend known mostly as Sav.

After all, this is his first year not only in Hypercity High, but in Hypercity itself. Following the events of "The Beginning," Max finds himself struggling with the consequences of his actions on his first day of school, as well as reaping hardly any awards from them. And then later, a peculiar enemy attacks an unexpected location for an even more surprising purpose. This chapter is called "With Much Deliberation." *** In spite of his actions on Monday night, Max still finds himself unable to join this team, having been rejected by Tiffany Chang and the others. And to top it all off, it would seem that his actions in Hypercity High have left him the target of bullying in more ways than one, to say nothing of him getting in trouble with the principal. And later in the day, Max and his new friends come face to face with a new foe and, as well, a maths problem. 500 killer robots, five teenagers to stop them, one unknown mastermind behind it all... and the battle begins at .... a baby products company? The tales of the teenager, Maximillian Hunter, as he traverses through high school and battles evil villains, his teen angst, and himself. This original story draws inspiration from my childhood and teenage experiences. It also draws inspiration from media I'd enjoyed when I was younger. This is Chapter 1. The Beginning. On his first day in his new school, fifteen year old Maximillian Hunter finds out that he's not as alone as he'd earlier thought. However, darkness lurks in every corner. *** Maximillian Hunter, the son of the famous ex-actress Julianne Hunter, has a simple problem. High school. The problem being that this teenage boy, for varying reasons, just can't seem to stay put in one school. A part of the reason being that fitting in is not a thing that Maximillian Hunter has ever been good at. After all, there is nothing quite like Maximillian Hunter. However, contrary to what he'd earlier believed, he finds himself making friends who actually seem to like him. And even more contrary to what he believed, he realises he's not the only abnormal one in Hypercity High. Except that .... .... there are more abnormal things going on in Hypercity. A lot more. And in every corner, lurks darkness. And sometimes, darkness enough to kill you. So, without further ado, enjoy! The story of the boy by the name of Maximillian Hunter.

No one in the team knows this better than Tiffany Chang. The problem? She must now initiate her "newest recruit" Maximillian Hunter. And what an initiation it shall be, seeing as even she has come to agree with Ken on this thing about Max. He's just full of surprises. But that statement could also be said of his mother, as her and the others will learn soon enough, seeing as she invites them to spar.... in her house.
