A wise man once said, "When we lose our principles, we invite chaos." That's what Mathew's father told him before the fall of mankind fell upon the world. When matthew saw how much the world was in disarray, he became a peacekeeper, he became the man his father prepared him to be. he became " The Mechanist!" Cyrus Barrone, a lowly mechanist, lost his only love, Avalon, to the murderous hands of the Cardinal and his personal guard, after being discovered breaking the law against loving another. With a plan to avenge his young love's death, and murder the Cardinal himself, will everything go according to plan, or is his drastic plan too much for a young mechanist to carry out?

Amaryllis Thorn works in a factory, and although she hates it: she hates the new prospect put before her even worse. When she tries to run, though, it's a familiar face that drags her back...well, a familiar face that slams her to the floor, actually. A familiar face that she can't quite place just as he can't quite place her. But it doesn't matter; she needs to escape. Fast.
