Scorpionheart's life in the Zone has treated him horribly. His friends are all dead, and there's nothing left for him to hang on to stay afloat in the swirling chaos. He decides that now might be the time to heal. Who knows, maybe by the end of it, he'll be stronger than ever.

Another little thing I wrote for my school's literary magazine, Morning Star. Bit more disturbing than the last one, though. Thou hast been warned. Now this? This, I own. HAH!

*for those who read the other, it's the same thing but better ✨, I'm re-writing the story, things that were canon before may not be anymore, I'm still bad at writing but better than b4 bc then I was 9th grade* Btw I know barely anything 'bout sports. So if I mess up anything sport-related I'm sorry. Jack is the main character. He used to get bullied and abused but things change when he befriends his bully. His sister is a bitch and is part of the reason he is abused at home. Tom was Jack's bully 😔. We also follow his side of the story and see whatever problems he has going on at home. He finds out Jack has a problem and tries to help him, so they become friends. He is also struggling internally with smth. What is that thing? idk, figure it out. I'm not sure but I think its a slow burn you be the judge (I've decided to add a year to this story. It's 2025, remember this is my own universe so things are not as they'd be irl)
