Phosphene_eyes
Astro boy (1982) was my first favourite show as a kid, I used to watch it on the VCR as much as possible, even sometimes at 5:00 am. Although, one problem I always had with Tetsuwan Atom was how the shows never adapted to it's full potential. Sometimes fully erasing messages of the story to appease to an American audience.
So, I made a version that hopefully fixes a lot of these plot holes and keeping all the main and important messaging the original creator meant for the story to tell.
I tried to use parts from every version of Atom over the past 70 years making this version, I don't know every little detail, but I tried to get everything as true to cannon as possible. There's only one big change I made, Atom has always been an Android (not a robot! They're different), although in a few versions, Atom is able to remember parts of his past life even though he shouldn't be able to. So I went stronger on the android side of the story to make more sense of how he's able to remember.
Small gore warnings on this book...
