ShadeClan always seemed to find something strange about one of their recent warriors, Mistyfeather. Featherstar, their leader, always seemed not to trust the warrior. She sent her top warriors, Shadowsnout, Hollyfoot, and Stormpelt to investigate what the she-cat was up to. When they did, they couldn't believe what they saw.

BrightClan is driven out of the forest along with StormClan, WaveClan and ShadeClan in the middle of leaf-bare. Now they have to make a long hard journey through the mountains to reach the new home StarClan has instructed them to go to.
