MJJ Imagine No. 29 One morning on my way to work I was stopped at a red light. I looked down at the playlist on my phone and started scrolling through it. When I saw "Cinderella Stay Awhile" by Michael Jackson, a short story started playing itself out in my mind like a film. By the time I reached work, I had the entire story in my head. After months and months of writer's block, it's funny how my brain up and started creating this story just from seeing the words "Cinderella Stay Awhile." I have no explanation for it. This imagine is not like my others where you, the reader, are my main female character. Instead, meet Samantha: "I don't know if it's true or not, but I like to think of him as a man who has trouble trusting women but who will fall deeply in love with the woman who treats him like the guy next door and who doesn't care that he's a celebrity and has been a world-wide celebrity since childhood. I see him as willing to be vulnerable with this woman even though it scares the heck out of him. I also make the woman extremely trustworthy and someone who will always be there for him, someone who will let him be vulnerable when he needs to be, and someone who will cherish and value his privacy as much as he does." He looks away and quietly whispers to himself so Samantha doesn't hear, "If only there was such a woman." He stares at the wall across from them. "Will?" He looks back at her. "I'm sorry. Did I say something to upset you?" He looks back at the wall. "No. I was just thinking. Sam?" He looks at her. "Actually, is it okay if I call you Sam or do you prefer Samantha?" "Sam is okay if it's okay that I call you Will instead of William?" He chuckles. "Will is okay." "Then Sam it is." He smiles. "Sam, what makes you think Michael Jackson doesn't trust women?" What will Samantha's answer to Will's question be? Will Michael Jackson make an appearance and why did I title this short story "Cinderella?"

MJJ Imagine No. 22 A few moments in my friend's imaginary life with Michael Jackson. This is an imagine I wrote for a good friend who's more like my "little" sister. We had one very short conversation about fangirling over Michael Jackson. My imagination ran wild and this is what I imagined happening with her if Michael caught her.

MJJ Imagine No. 20 A few moments in your imaginary life with Michael Jackson. This is the second Michael Jackson dream I've had, also a short dream, which I turned into an imagine. My dream in a nutshell: I was meeting my parents for lunch to discuss a new bible study course being held. After lunch, I was the last in the parking lot and as I was driving out a little girl decided to walk out in front of me. That little girl turned out to be Paris Jackson. The next thing I know, Michael and I are talking and then he's giving me a tour of the house he's staying at. Then we're playing with Prince and Paris and the next thing I know, I've stayed over and it's now the next morning and I'm getting ready for the four of us to go to church together. It was a pretty strange dream that of course made all the sense in the world while I was asleep. LOL Do "you" strike up a conversation with Michael? Does he invite "you" back to his house to get to know "you"?

MJJ Imagine No. 24 I woke up one morning with the first verse of "Who Is It" playing in my head over and over. Not sure where it came from, but by the time I was ready for work, my mind had already created a story around that verse. You work for Michael and you found the first verse of "Who Is It" re-written. Michael discovers you in his office sitting at his desk reading his personal thoughts. What will his reaction be?

MJJ Imagine No. 23 A moment in time in an imaginary life with Michael Jackson. This is the third Michael Jackson short dream I've turned into an imagine. My dream in a nutshell: Off The Wall era Michael is drawing a crowd in a park. He and I are then walking together in the park talking. We stop for a brief break and then he's suddenly morphed into either Bad, Dangerous or HIStory era Michael. It may have been the Bad era but I'm not certain as my alarm so rudely interrupted. So, what have I done with this dream and which era does Michael end up in?

MJJ Imagine No. 6 (inadvertent duplicate) This duplication was a result of technical difficulties. I did not delete it because to me, deleting it would have discounted those who read it and voted on it during the time I did not realize it existed. MJJ Imagine No. 27 A moment in time in an imaginary life with Michael Jackson. My fourth dream of Michael Jackson that I have turned into another imagine. Here's a summary of my dream for you: I was watching Michael rehearsing. I don't know if it was for a benefit, a performance, or a tour. I do know we were very good, close friends but there could have been more to that. Suddenly we're in another building that is under construction, yet it flipped to being a house under construction. There's also boom box set up with CDs featuring Michael's music. We talk about his rehearsal, he sings and does different parts of his routines. He ends up holding my hand and showing me how to do some of his steps. Then he starts to slow dance with me. And of course, my alarm goes off. So I snoozed my alarm and fell back asleep. I was back in that building/house but Michael was no where to be found. So I pretended he was there and started to waltz with "imaginary Michael." However, I remember getting this uneasy feeling like he was watching me from somewhere but that quickly turned into an uneasy, spooky feeling that was not Michael, so I hightailed it out of there. "Out of there" turned out to be the first floor of a house I apparently owned and lived in and I was greeted by my two cats. It was an interesting dream that was all over the place because my two cats were Sven and Lincoln who both passed away, 12 and 15 years ago respectively. And it ended with me meeting my husband and my parents at a restaurant - yes, my real life husband and parents. Have I decided what "Michael era" my dream took place in? Are you and he dancing in a building or a home under construction? Are you close friends or more? You'll have to read it to find out.

MJJ Imagine No. 18 A moment in time in your imaginary life with Michael Jackson. This is the first Michael Jackson dream I've had, which was short, that I agreed to turn into an imagine. My dream in a nutshell: I was covering for a friend in which I was supposed to spend the day observing Michael and then interviewing him that night. I recall his assistant was none to pleased I was around and I also felt like I was being ignored by Michael. That hurtful feeling of being ignored actually stuck with me for a few months which I found to be strange because dreams don't bother me like that. My friend told me I should think about writing it down and out of that came this imagine. The reflection by "you" while at the pond is actually my dream. Will Michael continue to ignore "you"?
