Mount Massive is a regular hospital and Waylon was checked in after a severe heart attack. He and a few others were supposed to get checked out but an emergency evacuation happened and everyone ran away, leaving a few patients to fend for themselves. Including Waylon Park. But knowing you didn't ask to be the eye of the school, you just wanted to live in a normal life. You wanted a normal high school girl life, instead of a prissy rich girl life. You then catch eye of this student who was just a regular school boy also. You just wished you weren't treated like this. You just wanted to live a normal life. Read to know more info.
