Blood pooled around her leg, and soon enough, covering the whole area around her. Her sobs came to a stop. Her eyes left half opened, and lips forming a thin line. The man towered above her, and whispered, "Preserving you, my precious doll. You must live longer." [•] Snaps and flashes of camera, along with constant questions thrown by the press was heard by Weiss Guertena. A smile shaped his lips as he placed his hand over his latest masterpiece. "Mr. Guertena, what is the name of this beautiful creation?" His smile only broadened, as if proud of it. He gave all he got here, and he could almost feel his life force slowly coming to a close. Life of being perfect is not easy....

a child named Melei used to have a doll that was beautiful. Years pass and she finds it once again but completely different...

(This is a solarballs AU I have called "Old Doll".) The story follows the oldest doll and how their life is as a possessed doll. They're over one hundred years old. The story takes place France in the 1920s-1940s. A little girl named Iris and her parents move to their great grandparents old house in the middle of the woods. They're a very rich family and is highly respected by others in the area. Their old neighborhood was slowly becoming a bad place to live in and they got news their great grandparents had died. Iris explores the house and comes across some old dolls that were left behind by past owners and decides to take them to her room and take a closer look at them. One of them is different from the others. They look much older and more destroyed than the other three she found. Their arm was hanging on by a few strings and same with their right eye. Iris decided to try fixing them up, only to see the large hole through the doll. She noticed a wind up key in the attic and decided to put it back in once she fixed the hole in the doll's chest. Iris fixes the doll and finishes fixing everyone else. Her parents tell her they'll be leaving for a business trip and that her aunt will be taking care of her. Iris's aunt tells her about two more dolls being somewhere in the attic. Iris finds a box with some faded writing on it and opens it. She finds the two other dolls in it and takes them with her to tell her aunt she found them. The oldest doll is found with a blade in their hands. They turn to Iris and cut her hand open. They then go on to kill her with the blade. She dies and the doll turns around to see everyone else staring at them with fear in their eyes. They all run away from them and never talk to them again. The doll doesn't care anymore, all they want is for others to suffer the way that they did before they died with their younger brother. "He was once human like me and you, he wants to make you suffer, too."
