The Andrada family has produced musicians and prodigies for generations. Because of this, it has been the family's tradition to offer a free thanksgiving concert for the community every Christmas. This year, however, Zoey is left out of the family tradition when she discovers that she has no musical talent whatsoever. But does Zoey really have nothing worthwhile to offer this Christmas? And after she meets a very special boy—and a very special Christmas star—will there be someone who will be able to help her see herself in a different light in time for Christmas? A heartwarming tale of faith, self-discovery, and how one person's journey can cross with another's.

A young man, at the age of 17, constantly battling with his parents, decided one night that enough was enough and took off into the woods behind his house. These are woods although seemingly normal, would soon become the epitome of despair in his life. The night he escaped was one of horrendous measures both before and after locking the back door. Once out into the woods, a knife in hand, the boy decided to climb a tree and sleep out there, just for the night, until sunrise when he would then return to expectant family. However what he did not anticipate was the strange sound that was calling out to him. It did not speak his name though he felt it in every bone in his body it was directed towards him. It was a soft hum, summoning him to a cave. He went inside, mentally paralyzed in a trance from the sound. He blacked out. The next morning the sun did not rise, the birds did not wake him, and he did not return to his family. The boy woke up in Hell, which would soon change him forever.
