وجعل الله هذه القصص عبرةً لأولي الألباب؛ فهي لا تُنقّي الذهن بمجرد قراءتها فحسب، بل تسمو بالروح حين يُتجاوز ظاهر الألفاظ إلى عمق المعاني. فقراءة القرآن الكريم صفاء، وأمّا التدبّر فهو فهم، وأمّا إدراك العِبر الكامنة في القصص فهو وعيٌ يغيّر النظرة، ويهذّب النفس، ويعيد ترتيب القلب. وحين يدرك الإنسان مقاصد تلك القصص، لا يعود يمرّ بها مرور القارئ، بل يقف عندها موقف المتأمّل، مدركًا الفارق بين ما كان عليه فهمه قبل استيعابها، وما صار إليه بعد ذلك.
