Detective Knight also known as DC Reece Emery Knight is everything a person would want in a boyfriend, charming, rich, handsome. Everyone except her, Marjorie Van Gould. The woman he's meant to despise, his rival. A headstrong, uptight (or was it just around him) yet chaotic woman with caramel eyes, wild curls and a temper (again, was that just around him?). Coffee was spilled, words were said and since then... they weren't exactly on the best of terms. Putting it lightly, they're sworn enemies. That was until their supervisor decided to lump them on a case together. In Oxford where they have to disguise themselves as Masters students at the prestigous Oxford University to discreetly investigate a series of ongoing murders and disappearances. Whilst balancing their hatred for one another. Oh and did i mention? In order to get to the root of the case they'll need to get into a secret society, the cases only lead. And when one of them has an unfortunate slip of the tongue.. they are forced into a fake relationship. Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Especially when both parties are hiding their own hidden demons. A story of rivalry, romance, healing. A story featuring bookstores, old cities, coffee, boat rides, academics and murder investigations.
