Their whole life they had been separated. Their whole life they never knew they existed. Their whole life they had lived without a sibling. Dipper growing up in Gravity Falls, Oregon with so-called 'Stanford Pines' and Mabel in Piedmont, California. It stays that way until the age of 12 where Mabel finds out she has a brother up in Oregon. She will get there no matter the cost or length. Ecstatic and enthused when she finally gets to her destination and when she finally finds her long-lost twin, she quickly tries to bond and be with him. Her brother on the other hand? Not so much. Even though it took some arguments to get it through his head, Dipper had to accept the fact she was staying for the summer. That summer of 2012 is even more crazier than imagined, filled with new creatures and wild adventures. Mabel and Dipper have never been together before...but it doesn't mean they won't be by the end of a couple months.

Dipper and Tyler were sent to gravity falls at a young age to live with their great uncles Stan and Ford. While Mabel stayed in Piedmont. Now she has gone to Gravity Falls to find her brothers. Though she doesn't comprehend the reason for the seperation.

What if Mabel and Dipper, rather than growing up together, were separated at birth, with Mabel going with her parents, and Dipper going with Stan? Well, you get this, whatever this is.

What if Mabel and Dipper were for (possibly supernatural) reasons unknown, were separated at birth, and while Mabel grew up as an only child in her normal home with normal parents, Dipper grew up in Gravity Falls raised by Grunkle Stan? But at the age of 12 Mabel learns of Dipper's existence and decides to pay her long-lost twin a surprise visit, complety unaware of the kind of wacky business going on in his hometown.
