I wrote this for NANOWRIMO and failed, so this is an edit and re upload of a story I have written and will continue to write. Kelly is an orphan, Caleb is the mayors son. Are these two more similar then ever? Is it love? Is it a deeper bond? Kelly and Caleb are on opposite ends socially, economically, and grade level wise. Secrets will be uncovered. Scandals may run deeper than believed. Everything could change when their worlds collide.

Actions speak louder than words. And like words, actions will always come back to haunt you.

Marion lives in a cruel, heartless world where the only thing that matters is wealth. Wealth that is more than just pretty mansions and personal chefs. Wealth...that can save your life. In a world destroyed by overpopulation and climate change, being poor is a sin. The world's governments came together with one solution to humanity's apocalyptic predicament: a ranking system that would sacrifice the impoverished for the good of humanity. If you don't have money, you're destined to die. But there is one exception: accidental deaths of the well-off might very well replace deaths of the poor. So, the real question is: how hard is it to make something look like an accident?
