Rue Candice lost her mother at the age of three. Her father died in a car crash the day she was born. She has been living in the streets since she lost her mom. When she tries to steal Carlos Maloo's food, and gets caught, she was loved for the first time in 15 years (when she lost her mom). She has been working for people, but she has a mischievous trait about her that Carlos couldn't help but loving her for, yet it also got her fired from most of her jobs. Turns out, she was raising another lost child. She couldn't let the kid be alone, so she hid the kid until she (the kid) was found and taken to a foster home. Rue kept bumping into Carlos on this long journey. They become close friends and then more. When she told him her secrets, he went too far to help. What happens?
