Mia Rueben lives in a poor town in Southern California. She walks to school everyday and works in the local skateboarding shop under her Uncle's apartment, which is where she lives with him. She doesn't trust people, or, at least, she didn't until she met Sage. She wants to listen to her Uncle and be skeptical of the people around her, but will Sage be able to teach her how to let go and trust him?
