I wanted to escape my old life - enough to convince my dad to take me to a cabin buried deep in the woods. I thought it would be quiet. Healing. A place where nothing could reach us. But Shadow Hollow wasn't peaceful. It was waiting. The cabin felt perfect at first... until an ominous note appeared at our door, written by something that knew we were there. Something patient. Something hungry. Then I found a girl unconscious in the woods - beautiful, terrified, and marked by something I couldn't name. I didn't know who she was or how she ended up here. But the moment I saw her, something inside me refused to leave her behind. That's when the shadows started moving. Figures watching us from the treeline. A shapeshifter slipping between forms. A presence that didn't just stalk - it selected. We tried to leave the cabin. We tried to leave Shadow Hollow. But the forest didn't let us go. Because the creature wasn't hunting us by accident. It had already chosen what it wanted next.

The story follows Sarah, who receives an invitation to her estranged uncle's estate, Hollow Manor. Upon her arrival, she feels an eerie atmosphere and discovers portraits of her ancestors, particularly one haunting figure. That night, she hears whispers leading her to a hidden room containing a diary that reveals dark family secrets and a curse tied to her ancestor's betrayal. Sarah encounters the ghost of the woman from the portrait, who seeks justice for her wrongful death. Determined to help, Sarah confronts her uncle and uncovers the truth about the betrayal. With the truth revealed, the ghost is finally freed from her sorrow, and the manor transforms into a place of peace, allowing Sarah to embrace her family's legacy without being haunted by the past.

The Sacrament they promise is not salvation, but something far darker-an offering to powers the cross cannot name.
